Inspired by the complicated relationship between Kylo Ren/Ben Solo and Rey from the Star Wars sequel series, I have compiled a playlist of songs that capture the vibe of their ups and downs throughout the canon content in which their relationship exists. Or, here’s a reylo playlist to help deal with post TROS pain.
Two important notes about this playlist:
- It is chronological: the first song starts as an introduction to Rey and Ben, then follows as we get to know them individually, and then as they meet each other, fight each other, relies heavily on their relationship growth in The Last Jedi, and ends where The Rise of Skywalker ends.
- Contains songs from Rey’s and Ben’s POVs as well as narrative third-person POVS. It’s pretty evident which songs are describing whom, but if you get confused, most songs sung by a female singer in 1st person are from Rey’s POV and most songs sung by a male singer in 1st person are from Ben’s POV.
